Kenton's remarkable journey in the equestrian world spans an impressive four decades, revealing a rich tapestry of experiences that showcase his mastery of horsemanship. With over thirty years dedicated to trail riding, Kenton has honed his skills, navigating diverse terrains with finesse and a deep understanding of equine dynamics. His two-decade presence in local and regional horse shows reflects a consistent commitment to excellence, where he artfully displays his profound connection with horses.


Venturing into the refined discipline of saddle seat equitation, Kenton dedicated four years to perfecting his craft, attaining a level of finesse that distinguishes him within the equestrian community. As a pleasure driving competitor, he seamlessly blends precision and passion in the competitive arena, embodying the spirit of true equestrian artistry.


In 2008, Kenton founded Appalachian Horse Adventures, a testament to his dual passions for the great outdoors and horses. Over the years, he has guided thousands of clients, spanning all age groups, through the awe-inspiring landscapes of the Blue Ridge Mountains on horseback. In 2020, Kenton expanded his horizons to Hot Springs, introducing enthusiasts to meticulously crafted trails on his private property and inviting them to embark on a new chapter of equine exploration under his expert guidance.


Kim

Kim was born with an innate connection to horses and embarked on her equestrian adventure at a young age. Trail riding through sun-dappled forests and meadows, she discovered the joy of exploring nature from the saddle, forming an unbreakable bond with her equine companions. This early love for the freedom of the open trail laid the foundation for a lifetime of equestrian pursuits.


As the years unfolded, Kim delved into various facets of horsemanship, embracing the diversity of experiences the equestrian world has to offer. Pleasure riding became not just a pastime but a soul-soothing activity, providing moments of serenity and reflection as she and her horses moved as one. Her journey extended to the vibrant world of horse shows and tournaments, where she showcased not only her riding prowess but also the deep connection she shares with her four-legged partners.

Jannette

Guide - Montebello Location

Jannette simply loves horses and people and will share her love for horses with anyone who will listen. Come experience the history and trails of the George Washington National Forest in the Blue Ridge Mountains of Montebello Virginia with her.


Jannette has been professionally trail riding and horse camping for over 20 years. During that time, she has also studied Parelli Natural Horsemanship and equine behavior and has directed children’s summer camp horsemanship programs. Connecting both new or experienced riders with Horses and nature is her passion and she looks forward to riding with you.
